Why Stay In China:

Every day is an opportunity to learn. I came to study Chinese but found that I really loved Beijing and having the opportunity to travel to all the very different, but still uniquely Chinese, parts of China.

 

I have a background in international affairs but have since moved on to working to help find teachers looking to make the leap and teach in China.

I’m ethnically Mongolian from Inner Mongolia.  I moved to work in Beijing right after graduating from university in Tianjin.

 

Prior to working with Houhai, I worked as a recruiter for TAL Group, where I started my career path as a recruiter specializing in foreign expat recruitment. 

 

I’ve been with Houhai for three years, and I found it’s a place that gathers innovative people with integrity and positive energy. I believe in our culture of continuous growth and learning for both our students and staff.

I am originally from Hebei province. I hold a Masters degree in International Business Management from the University of Surrey.

I started as a Learning Advisor at Houhai English, then the Assistant to the Head of Recruitment, where I explored my passion for social media and recruitment, and I am currently a full-time recruiter.

I love working in the Education industry and find my work to be both challenging and rewarding.

I am Canadian and come from a theatrical background from the Beijing Film Academy.

The first thing that impressed me when I joined Houhai was the culture. It was stimulating, and engaging and I knew was surrounded by wonderful, enthusiastic people that made me enjoy even my work more. I enjoy recruitment because  I find fulfillment in connecting talented individuals with opportunities that we offer.
